In December 2009 I slipped 40 letters through mail slots in my neighborhood in Leamington Spa, UK.
In the letters I introduced myself and explained that I was working on a project to do with the everyday meal.
I asked these neighbors to get in touch with me if they would be willing to have me come to their home, sometime during the next week, and make a portrait of one of their everyday meals.
Some of them responded. It was really great to meet them.
